Li-Tsu guides the class through various yoga poses in a professional and knowledgeable manner. Her professionalism is exhibited in her approach to teaching and in her positive attitude. She is able to tailor her courses for a beginner to the most experienced student. During the most challenging poses Li-Tsu adds humor to get us through. Li-Tsu provides guided meditations at the end of each class that I have incorporated into my daily routine. The progress I have made physically and mentally far exceeds the 9 months of participation. I highly recommend Li-Tsu's courses.
I took classes with Litsu for two years, both in-person and by distance. I’ve taken yin, vinyasa, and non-yoga classes with her. She even taught my Air Force unit a beginner’s class that all 25 people loved. She was not my first yoga teacher, but she’s definitely been my favorite. Taking classes with Litsu was amazing. She’s there for you at your first yoga class and at your 1000th. I’ve watched her walk new students through the most basic poses and very experienced students through advanced positions I didn’t even think were possible.
Many yoga teachers offer a poorly constructed class in mobility/balance or a half-baked hour of mindfulness. Litsu offers you an excellent hour of both. 1. She offers you a class that helps you to improve your mobility and balance. She helped me to increase the range of motion in my hips and shoulders while allowing me to forget that I was doing anything of the sort. 2. She offered me an hour each week where I could relax and forget about what was happening outside of class. She reminds you at the beginning of each class to let go of what’s happening off the mat, and to just focus on your breathing and your movements. She then provides you with 60 minutes of instruction that make that possible. In summary: Litsu is phenomenal. You’ll be glad you took classes with her.
